6 years

Six long years have passed since my brother Inlaw passed away. Hard to believe. I always have such emotions on this day. He is missed, still loved and always will be. Hope your having fun with the angels Mikey.

Alex really wanted his Goalie helmet painted, so we talked to Paul Wilson in town who is an awesome painter and look what he did! Alex's eyes got as big as plates when he saw the finished product!

We are back from provincials. It was an fantastic weekend of fun with the team, the results were not what we wanted. We lost in the Bronze medal game. BUT the kids had a great time. They were disappointed but now they are all focusing on hockey. ;) Tomorrow Alex starts hockey camp for two weeks, then try outs start again.

I won't have ball photos for a week. I forgot my camera, so I'm waiting till the Grahams come home from holidays next week!!! Wendy will email me some cool pics of Alex pitching!!!

I will say I'm very proud of Alex. His pitching was awesome this weekend! Good job buddy!

Today....

We just got back in from a funeral. Tim's aunt passed away this week. The service was more a celebration of her life. It was nice. She really will be missed. They had an amazing slide show of older pics from days gone by and its very cool to get that glimpse of that part of her everyday life. I knew her as the aunt that always had a smile and a hug and wanted to know what you were doing ;) hehe She was kind and gentle. A lovely soul. She really will be missed. Her obituary was one of the nicest ones I've read in a long a time. Just well worded and summed her up completely. Beautiful. If your interested you can find it here.

Well we're hoping to get a bunch of back to school stuff off our list today! We'll see how that goes! From shopping to appointments! School is just around the corner!
